US CERT Security Tips

The US Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) publishes security tips about twice a month. They are brief and most of them are well-written. The topics they deal with are practical and timely. You can see tips dealing with:
  • Passwords
  • Firewalls
  • Anti-virus software
  • Spam
  • Hoaxes
  • Instant messaging
  • Pfishing
  • Spyware
  • Digital signatures
  • Browser security settings
. . . as well as many other topics. You can receive notice about new tips either by email (http://www.us-cert.gov/cas/signup.html) or via RSS (http://www.us-cert.gov/channels/index.html).
